Our Story

Foxwood Apple Juice, Norfolk

Foxwood Apple Juice was born out of resilience, family tradition, and a love for the Norfolk countryside. After Jordan suffered a life-changing accident that led to the amputation of his leg, he faced challenges returning to consistent work. During this time, he found joy in learning the craft of apple juice production, a skill his family had practiced for many years.

When we purchased our home in Norfolk, complete with land and barns, we saw an opportunity to turn this passion into something more. With both of us out of work after welcoming our son, we took a leap of faith and began producing our own freshly pressed apple juice. The name *Foxwood* comes from our son, Fox Greenwood, making our brand a true family story.

Since then, Foxwood Apple Juice has grown into a trusted Norfolk farm business. We now produce six delicious varieties of juice, each pressed from apples grown in our orchard. Our commitment to quality has earned us over 50 five-star reviews on Google, and our bottles can be found in local establishments including garden centres, butchers, and at markets and events across the region.

At Foxwood, every bottle reflects our values: family, sustainability, and the rich heritage of Norfolk farming.

Sustainability

At our orchard, sustainability isn’t just a word, it’s the way we work every day. From the soil beneath our trees to the bottles of juice we share with you, every step is guided by care for the environment and respect for future generations.

Naturally Grown Apples

Our apples are nurtured without unnecessary chemicals, allowing the orchard to thrive in harmony with local wildlife and pollinators.

Minimal Waste

We press our apples fresh on the farm, and any leftover pulp goes to local livestock including chickens, cows, pigs and sheep.

Local & Low Impact

By producing and bottling directly on-site, we reduce food miles and keep our carbon footprint small.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We choose recyclable and reusable materials wherever possible, so enjoying our juice leaves less impact on the planet.

Community Connection

Sustainability also means supporting people. We share our orchard’s story locally, encouraging others to value seasonal produce and responsible farming.

Our goal is simple:
To create delicious apple juice while protecting the land that makes it possible.
Every sip reflects our commitment to a healthier planet and a more sustainable future.

Discover Our Apples

Gala

The Gala Apple is a sweet, mild-flavored dessert apple with crisp, creamy white flesh. Its skin is striped or mottled in orange-red tones. Originating in New Zealand in the 1930s, Gala is now one of the world’s most popular apples, enjoyed fresh or in sauces.

Discovery

The Discovery Apple is a popular early-season English apple, introduced in the 1950s. Small to medium in size, with bright red skin and crisp white flesh. Its flavor is fresh and acidic, best enjoyed straight from the tree in late August to early September. It’s a cross between Worcester Pearmain and Beauty of Bath.

Windsor

The Windsor (Red Windsor) Apple is a mid-season English dessert apple, descended from Alkmene. It has deep red skin, crisp juicy flesh, and a rich, aromatic, honeyed flavor. Ready in September, it stores for about a month and is prized for its disease resistance and reliable crops.

Russet

The Russet (Egremont Russet) Apple is a traditional English variety with rough, golden-brown russeted skin. Its dense, cream-colored flesh has a sweet-tart balance and a distinctive nutty, aromatic flavor. First recorded in the 1870s, it remains popular among apple enthusiasts despite its unusual appearance.

Worcester

The Worcester (Worcester Pearmain) Apple is an early English apple from Worcester, dating to the 1870s. Medium-sized with bright red flushes on pale green skin, it is famous for its distinctive strawberry-like flavor. Best eaten fresh in September, though it keeps only briefly.

Grenadier

The Grenadier Apple is a classic English cooking apple from the mid-19th century. Large, ribbed, pale green fruit that turns yellow-green when ripe. It cooks down quickly to a sharp, tangy purée, making it excellent for pies and sauces. Easy to grow and disease-resistant, though it doesn’t store well.
